Terms & Conditions

Special Occasion Makeup:

  • An appointment lasts up to 60 mins max. If longer time is required an additional  payment is required and will then be invoiced at £20 in 30 minutes increments.​

  • If I am required to travel or begin the service before 10am or after 9pm there is an additional anti-social hour’s payment required. This does not apply to wedding day makeup.

  • If an appointment is on a Sunday or Bank Holiday then an additional £10 supplement is required. 

  • A  deposit of £10 per person is required to secure makeup services. 

  • All Booking Retainer Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable

Bridal Trial: 

  • During peak season (April – October) trials will only be available weekdays (Mon to Friday). I will try and accommodate a trial on a weekend if possible but there is no guarantee.  ​You have to be prepared that you may have to book a day off work. If you are a teacher then we can discuss your needs. 

  • Trials to take place at your home​

  • Arranging a trial does not reserve the makeup artist’s services for your wedding day only payment of a Deposit secures a date.

  • The Trial must be paid for on the day of or prior to the trial. The Trial can be paid for in cash or via bank transfer. The bank transfer must be done prior to the makeup artist leaving the premises. 

  • Trials last a maximum of 2.5 hours. If longer then this is required then this will be classed as a second trial and be charged in 30 minute increments. 

Wedding Makeup: 

  • A £50 non-refundable and non- transferable booking fee is required to secure the date of your wedding. This is then deducted from your final balance.

  • The Deposit is to secure your wedding date and also cover administration costs prior to your wedding day 

  • ​The balance for the wedding is required 7 days  before the wedding date. Payment can be in cash or via bank transfer.

 

Peak Season Booking Size Policy: 

  • Peak Season (Apr – Oct): 

  • During Peak Season there is a minimum booking size of 1 x Bride + 2 members of the Party. 

  • ​Alternatively a Bride Only Supplement can be paid. Please contact me for your custom quote. 

  • ​For a wedding with 2 Brides and No Bridal Party or a Bride and 1 x Bridal Party then a supplement can be paid. 

 

Additional Bridal Party Makeup Application:

 If additional members of the Bridal Party want make up applied that are not booked in, if time allows then makeup application can be undertaken at the Makeup Artists discretion. These clients can pay in cash at or via bank transfer on the day of the wedding. The payment will be due immediately on that day, prior to completion. Emily Mulan cannot guarantee to undertake additional makeup on the day that have not been scheduled in. I recommend booking everyone in to avoid disappointment 

Assistants: 

If the start time for a booking is amended to be later than in the initial Agreement, however the finish time is to remain the same; or if a booking is requested for just Emily Mulan but is deemed by not to be possible for one person due to time constraints an assistant to the makeup artist will be required and booked for an additional (approx) £100 per booking.

All Services - Expenses: 

  • A mileage charge will be payable of 50p per mile after a complimentary 10 mile radius of central Bridgnorth (WV16). 

  • ​There are additional Fees for Lateness – Please see contract sent with quote 

  • All Expenses incurred such as parking, congestion charges, toll bridges etc are to be covered by the client 

  • For services that require accommodation please see contract sent with quote

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please Note: This does not apply to postponements due to covid. Please contact me to discuss your personal situation to get accurate advice - Don't panic we are in this together & I will do everything I can to support you during this difficult time.  

Weddings:

  • The Deposit is none refundable and none transferable 

The Makeup Artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until point of cancellation, however the client will be liable for any further payments under the following conditions:

  • Cancellation received less than 8 weeks will incur the full Fee for the service.​

  • Cancellations received less than 12 weeks before the wedding will incur a 50% Fee.

  • Cancellations received with more than 12 weeks’ notice will not require any further payments made.

  • Once the Deposit has been paid and your services booked in, the full balance remains payable if any member of the Bridal Party decides against having their make-up done. The bride can offer this service to an alternative member of her bridal party but a reduction to the invoice will not be made.

None Wedding Services: 

 

  • The booking Retainer Fee is none transferable and none refundable 

  • 50% of a booking is incurred if a cancellation is received less than 48  hours before the Event for a group of 3 or more people. And the Full amount if less then 24 hour is given. 

  • The full cost of booking is incurred if a cancellation for a single person service less than 48 hours before.

All Services: 

Cancellations for services booked where travel and/or accommodation expenses have been paid for by the Makeup Artist and are non-refundable by the provider will incur the full reimbursement from the Client to the Makeup Artist for the travel and/or accommodation costs paid.​

Cancellations are only valid via e-mail, verbal cancellations are not accepted as they are not deemed valid by the Makeup Artist

PLEASE NOTE THAT BY SECURING A BOOKING, CONFIRMING A TRIAL OR PURCHASING A GIFT VOUCHER THE CLIENT ACCEPTS THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
